Why fight for total freedom? Total freedom is an illusion. No governments have complete freedoms. Liberal governments who claim they have democracy and freedom, do so at the expense of non-liberal governments. They do so using resources from non-liberal governments, from governments that they colonized before. This is the hypocrisy of liberal governments. And citizens of liberal governments suffer because their governments choose trade and capitalism, chose the voice of the elites of billionaires instead of the ordinary people. America is a fine example of the allure of liberal governments… but at the expense of what? At the expense of citizens who had to forego quality public education, healthcare, regressive taxes and corroding retirement used to pay for government debt and military spending. That being said, is being free the goal of your existence in this life? No one can be truly free. No one can always be truly happy all the time. This is life is just a passing station. Thank you Max.
