Hi, Max! I am sorry this doesn’t relate to the podcast, but I had a question from a friend that I thought I would run by you: “I do have a Soviet Union question I have been meaning to ask for a while, as I seem to have read a lot of Russia-related titles this past year. In a book by Stalin’s daughter, she mentioned having a Russian friend of African-American heritage, and I learned how African-Americans agriculturists were recruited in the Great Depression to Uzbekistan to help improve farming practices. Did you happen to know anyone with that background while you lived there? It’s all new to me and I have found it fascinating. I believe there is a current Russian TV personality whose grandparents moved over during that time.” Do you have any sources you think might be able to help? Spasibo! Wendy

In the U.S., we say a good mechanic is worth his/her weight in gold! 🙂
This is great; the speed really is challenging, in a good way! BTW__how can I get the Cyrillic alphabet on my laptop? (I should know this, but don’t!) Thanks! Wendy
